Day 7 - Thursday, October 25, 2007

The Reveal!

What time is reveal at on Thursday?
> Between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm


When can spectators show up?
> Spectators may want to line up at Macy's as early at 7:00 am
>Those who have earned their blue shirts and VIPs should take the shuttle at Jac Pac and they also should start lining up at 7:00 am

When is Wrap Day (the 26th) Clean up?
> Volunteers over 18 years of age can help with clean up. There will be an Extreme Makeover man available to hand out shirts AFTER the work is done (and for as long as they have shirts - first come first serve).
> We need help with clean up at:The Jac Pac Warehouse, Jac Pac check in tent and throughout the neighborhood.

How can I get on site?
>Walk-ins on the site will NOT be permitted to enter. Please check in at Jac Pac or at Macy's.

Day 4 - Sunday, October 21, 2007

Henderson Associates and My-T-Man deliver water to a thirsty crowd!

Craig Mandeville, owner of My-T-Man Screen Printing in Hooksett, along with volunteers from the PR and Marketing support team loaded up over 700 bottles of water provided by Henderson Associates and shuttled them to the catering tent and build site.

They were warmly received by the dry mouths of the volunteers.

Volunteers witness Game 7 of the ALCS

Varuna Design and Advertising from Bedford provided a large white projector sheet and a projector hooked up the Comcast cable so that the hard working volunteers could witness the 11-2 win over the Cleveland Indians by the Boston Red Sox. On to the World Series!

Day 3 - Saturday, October 20, 2007

Miss New Hampshire Gets the Scoop! Interviews Design Team!

Miss New Hampshire 2007 is used to donning her crown and heels and appearing at statewide events and fundraisers. Today she was more than just Miss New Hampshire. She was Rachel Barker, an aspiring public relations representative on behalf of Bedford PR and marketing agency Varuna Design & Advertising on the set of Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Manchester.

Concert and March Kickoff Build in Manchester's Backyard

The west side of Manchester is no stranger to music. They make the music of a community coming together to build a home for a family in need. This morning the music took to the streets of this neighborhood in the form of an opening concert and Braveheart march to kick off the build with country music star Rodney Atkins taking the stage to celebrate the weeklong construction and filming.

Day 2 - Friday, October 19, 2007

Members of Design Team to Appear at Local Fundraiser!

Join selected members of the design team from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Saturday, October 20 along with Somersworth High School (Somersworth, NH) for a special fundraising event to raise money for "There's No Place Like Home", an organization dedicated to facilitating the rebuilding of homes after natural disasters.

Tickets are $20.00 and include live music by Grace Community Church of Rochester, a silent auction, live auction, raffles, door prizes, and delicious selections by the Somersworth High School culinary department.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be former NH congressman, Jeb Bradley.

The Door Knock: "Good Morning Voisine Family"

The Voisine’s got a wakeup call that dreams are made of from ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, R.J. Moreau Communities and it’s partners to unite build and change – everything for this deserving family

Is 8:00 am too early for a megaphone at your door? It depends on who is shouting on it. When Reynald and Casey Voisine opened the door to their rental apartment who did they see but Ty and the rest of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team, ready to end what can only be described as a nightmare; a nightmare that started with the Mothers Day flood in 2006.

Reynald and Casey were high school sweethearts. They married, had 4 beautiful children and bought a small but cozy home in Manchester, NH. They had taken the right steps and laid the groundwork for a life to be “lived happily ever after”. Who would know that what started as a common spring shower would turn their lives upside down...
